2020 was just horrible. Working in the elections industry, the Presidential elections literally took over my life. I spent many many long days and nights at work, and when I went home, all I wanted to do was to sleep. I simply had zero energy left in my body.

But. There were my two children. Who had been stuck at home. Who had not been seeing their friends. Who had not been able to go anywhere because everything shut down. Who had missed me. So of course, no matter how exhausted I was, I dragged my ass to cook, to laugh, to hug, to love, to play, and to kiss them as we always do. And when I couldn't anymore, I locked myself in the bathroom!
